The struggle

I can share a journey that seems to be on going. The knowing that I need to exercise more and eat better and yet the lack of motivation and discipline to make the changes.  I look back to a year and a half ago when I did get that urge to make a change. I joined Snap Fitness and signed up for a Biggest Loser Challenge they were putting on at the local club in the town I lived in. We had 12 women, 6 on each team. We met every Tuesday and Thursday at the Snap Fitness where personal trainers put us through a circuit of anymore from 10-12 stations using cardio, weight and floor for our workout. We would stay at each station for about 45 seconds and then rotate to the next one. It was fun and there was that team spirit and the competition of wanting to make sure on weigh in day once a week that we went down in pounds. On the other days of the week we were to exercise on our own. During this time I was so good about watching what I ate to not go over 1400 calories a day. I would enter my food daily at myfitnesspal.com. I learned that it is possible to lose weight when you follow something and stick to it. Over a 9 month period of time I went through 4 different sessions of the Biggest Loser Challenges at the local club.   We ended up moving to a new town that was too far for me to attend the local Snap Fitness I was attending.  The slippery slope of getting back into not exercising and not watching what I was eating began.....I started to gain back some of the weight that I had lost and worked so hard to loose. The excuses of not feeling motivated set in, wanting to eat the foods that I had cut out of my diet for so long. So now I am here in the mode of Knowing I need to get back at it, Knowing I need to eat better but have not made the step forward yet... BUT its coming...  Can you relate? Are you on this journey too?
Lets make a change together....
Take care,

My Journey, Your Journey

I have been on a  journey... Many journeys for that matter. What has your journey been like?  I can almost guarantee that you have been on some of my same journeys or ones very similar. We may have crossed paths at one time and not even known it.

Can we learn and grow from the journeys we have been on? Your Journey my Journey, whats different? Have we traveled down similar paths? Maybe you can recognize a place that I have been or relate to an experience or feeling. Or maybe you were there but you experienced something different and went another way on your journey.   I have been on many paths and feel as If I have made it to the end of some and am still traveling on others.  I am almost certain that there are others on some of these paths experiencing the journey with me. Some have already made it to the end, some are walking right with me and some are still a ways back.  Why would this be?  Possibly focus, distractions along the way, interruptions, not being prepared etc.

My Journey(s) might not look like yours but what can we learn from each other on the way? Can we learn how to avoid the rough spots that will be up ahead? Can learn something along the way that we can pass on to someone else to help them through there Journey.

Come, Lets experience the Journeys of Life together
